Akima Singers

The Akima Singers, a club tradition, perform year round at nursing homes and community events as part of Akima’s Outreach program. The singers’ repertoire is a selection of medleys including love songs from WWII, country hits made famous by female country artists, a collection of old time gospel favorites, a medley of Broadway show tunes, girl group hits from the 1960′s, Rosemary Clooney songs, ABBA favorites, famous hits by Burt Bacharach and a state and nation patriotic medley. At every performance the Akima Singers experience the positive power of music. We love to see our audience singing along with us and having fun.
